Timothy Rheinscheld

Timothy L. Rheinscheld, Ph.D., obtained his doctorate in psychology at The Ohio State University in 1994. He completed a two year post-doctorate internship in counseling and neuropsychology at OSU’s Dodd Hall.

Dr. Rheinscheld utilizes applied behavioral analysis, mindfulness-based and cognitive behavioral techniques in treatment to effect positive life changes. Dr. Rheinscheld provides assistance to adults, adolescents and children who are experiencing depression, anxiety, behavior disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, chronic pain, learning problems and developmental disorders. In addition, Dr. Rheinscheld provides mental skills training to enhance sports performance in athletes.

Dr. Rheinscheld is employed part-time at OhioHealth where he assists injured workers and individuals with chronic pain. Prior to joining Meers, Inc., Dr. Rheinscheld was chief psychologist in a community mental health center, a contract psychologist at the OSU Nisonger Center, and has worked in private practice.
