COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION NOW OFFERED FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADD) AND ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD).
- Experts on ADD/ADHD say it afflicts as many as 3.5 million youngsters, or up to 5% of those under 18.
- It is two to three times as likely to be diagnosed in boys as in girls.
- Although boys are most commonly identified, girls represent a significant percentage of those diagnosed with ADD.
- It is conservatively estimated that two to nine million adults may have ADD/ADHD and the majority of these individuals are not identified, assisted, or treated. ADD/ADHD symptoms in adults can impact their functioning in interpersonal relationships, employment, family life, and activities of daily living.
